197Au(3He,d)198Hg reaction at E3He = 50 MeV

Description
The 197Au(3He,d)198Hg reaction has been studied at E3He = 50 MeV. Single-particle strengths for s- and d/sub 3/2/ proton transfer have been obtained for 15 levels. In total 24 levels have been identified. A comparison is made with the predictions of the supersymmetry model and of the Alaga model. At E/sub x/ = 2.45 MeV a state is found which has probably J/sup π/ = 1+ and carries nearly unfragmented the s/sub 1/2/ partial sum rule for 1+ states
