Automatic image display to static and dynamic scintigrams

Description

A system is described which makes use of a fully automated image display. In particular, the computer indicates the level of background subtraction and cut-off. For individual scintigraphic problems various modes for documentation, such as positive, negative and zoom displays may be used. The programmer is able to intervene at all stages of the programme. Experience has shown satisfactory results in 80-90%. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird ein Programmsystem vorgestellt, das eine vollautomatische Bildverarbeitung und -darstellung ermoeglicht. Insbesondere wird vom Computer ein Vorschlag fuer die Backgroundsubtraktion und den Cut-Off berechnet. Fuer die einzelnen nuklearmedizinischen Anwendungen kann unter verschiedenen Dokumentationsarten wie Positiv-, Negativ- und Zoomdarstellung gewaehlt werden. Das Programmsystem bleibt in allen Verarbeitungsstufen offen fuer Eingriffe des Bedieners. Die Ergebnisse zeigen nach bisherigen Erfahrungen zu 80-90% gute Resultate. (orig.)
