Basic physics of vacuum system design

Description
A brief review of today's state of vacuum systems element base is made. Physical fundamentals of operation of diverse high-vacuum systems, i.e. kinetic, electrophysical, condensation and cryosorption ones, are presented. By way of practical implementation of the principles described the block diagrams and most important characteristics of super vacuum systems in the two unique complexes, which are at the stage of detail design and construction preparation, i.e. ITER reactor-tokamak and KATRIN spectrometer for measuring antineutrino mass, are provided

Сделан краткий обзор современного состояния элементной базы вакуумной техники. Изложены физические основы функционирования высоковакуумных средств откачки различных типов - кинетических, электрофизических, конденсационных и криосорбционных. В качестве примеров практического воплощения изложенных принципов обсуждаются блок-схемы и важнейшие характеристики сверхвысоковакуумных систем двух уникальных комплексов, находящихся в стадии рабочего проектирования и подготовки к сооружению, - реактора-токамака ITER и спектрометра KATRIN для измерения массы антинейтриноFiles
