Pressurizer model for the simulation of transients in PWR plants
Description
The report describes a mathematical model of a pressurizer for digital simulation of transients in PWRs. It can be used for the analysis of normal operation and anticipated transients with and without scram. A model with three nodes and movable boundaries was developed. There are two water volumes and one steam volume. Nonequilibrium thermodynamic conditions of steam- and water phase are taken into account. Thermodynamic properties of steam and water are approximated by polynomials. A discription of the thermodynamic processes is presented, followed by the derivation of the equations for the model. For testing purposes a transient calculation was compared with measurements at the STADE Nuclear Power Plant. There is good agreement between experiment and calculation. (orig.)

Die Arbeit beschreibt ein analytisches Druckhaltermodell zur digitalen Simulation von Betriebsstoerungen in Druckwasserreaktoranlagen. Das Modell eignet sich fuer die Berechnung normaler Betriebstransienten und fuer die Analyse von Betriebsstoerungen auch unter der Annahme versagender Schnellabschaltung. Es wurde ein Drei-Zonen-Modell mit gegeneinander beweglichen Grenzen entwickelt: zwei Wasser- und eine Dampfzone. Ungleichgewichtszustaende zwischen Dampf und Wasser koennen auftreten. Die erforderlichen Stoffwertfunktionen wurden durch Polynomansaetze angenaehert. Vor einer ausfuehrlichen Herleitung der Modellgleichungen erfolgt eine Einfuehrung in die thermodynamischen Prozesse mit einer Auswahl bestehender Modellannahmen. Der sich anschliessende Modelltest erfolgte an einer Messung, die am Kernkraftwerk Stade durchgefuehrt worden war. Sie lieferte gute Ergebnisse. (orig.)
