Description
1 - Description of program or function: SYRCO1 is a one-dimensional, 2-groups, interactive code, suitable for reactors being zone-homogeneous, in cylindrical, spherical and slab geometries. The code divides the largest zone-radius in 601 points (mesh points) if the 'fixed mesh-points' option is selected, otherwise the mesh -step can be imposed by the user. The code can treat up to 30 zones (core, moderator, reflector,... etc). It calculates point-group-fluxes and power distribution once the total reactor thermal power has been specified in the input. 2 - Methods: One-dimensional 2-Group diffusion equation. 3 - Restrictions on the complexity of the problem: None.
