Relaxation of temperature and electromagnetic wave amplitude in tungsten under statical skin effect conditions
Description
Method of estimation of metal surface temperature was developed on the base of static skin-effect investigations in a meander-like electric conductor produced of monocrystalline tungsten. Temperature gradients resulted from passing the electric current pulse were evaluated by the technique developed as well as the time of temperature relaxation. It was shown that the time of metastable chaos in an amplitude of electromagnetic wave exceeded that of temperature relaxation. Causes of nonstationary phenomena in electromagnetic wave amplitude are supposed to be explained either by travelling thermoelectromagnetic or by standing elastic wave behaviour
