Description
Solutions are found of the conditions for a minimum of the classical p-brane action. These solutions which are given by an arbitrary function of a single complex (light-cone) variable and the remaining p+1 world-sheet coordinates can be used for the derivation of the partition functional in the semi-classical approximation.
