Principles of threshold setting in fuel-containing materials subcriticality control channels
- 1. Institute for Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants, Kyiv (Ukraine)
Description
It i s shown that in current technological reglament of the 'Ukryttya' object there is no guidance for permissible values selection in channels of fuel-containing materials nuclear-physical parameters control.Threshold setting for neutron flux density that were listed in the reglament are given without proper justification and do not provide a sufficient level of subcriticality control effectivenesses. The necessarily to develop convenient for practical using method for threshold setting determination on basis of composite between strictly scientific approach and easy usage and to incorporate it to the reglament is pointed out. Recommendations for content of such a method are given. Main principles for threshold setting determination for the 'Ukryttya' object nuclear safety control effectiveness analyzed
