Preparation and properties of lithium intercalated compounds on the base of niobium trichalcogenides

Description
Interaction of low-dimensional niobium trisulfide and triselenide with n-butyl-lithium in hexane has been studied. Lithium intercalated compounds prepared are characterized by different methods of physico-chemical analysis. Intercalated compounds thermal stability is determined. Diffusion mobility of lithium ion in matrix has been studied by the method of NMR relaxation; the activation energy calculated (∼ 3.2 kcal/mol) is one the lowest energies among the known lithium compounds
