Nondestructive control system of 235U content in reactor fuel assemblies
Description
A new method of nondestructive control of nuclear reactor fuel assemblies is described. The method uses a pulsed neutron source and system of WWER-440 reactor fuel assemblies. The system makes it possible of effect the input control of one fuel assembly, at an 80 kg set up for 2-10 minutes; the output neutrons of the neutron generator being 5. 109 neutron per second at the level of 1% from the total amount of fission substance in this fuel assembly
