Description
The data on radiation chemical reactions of transamericium elements are generalized. Using the pulsed radiolysis method Cm(3) perchloric acid solutions are studied. It is shown that after an electron pulse passes through a solution saturated with N2O optical absorption pertaining to Cm(OH)sub(i)sup(4-i) ion occurs. 244Cm(4) in CsF solution is reduced to Cm(3) due to autoradiolysis. Reduction proceeds according to the zero order. In radiolysis of nitric acid solutions of Bk(3) in the presence of Ce(3) under the effect of 244Cmta-particles Bk(4) is formed. The maximum degree of oxidation (30%) is achieved at 36 Mrad dose. Radiation self-reduction of Bk(4) in nitric acid solutions is described, Bk(4) reduction in carbonate medium does not proceed. Radiolytic stability of Cf(4) being in complex with P2W17O6110-, as well as 249Bk(4) stability in acidic solutions to the effect of β-self-irradiation are studied
