Utilization of process heat from HTGR-type reactors

Description

The special research programme deals with the theoretical and experimental exploration of the engineering science fundamental principles and problems resulting from the use of process heat from HTGR-type reactors. The lectures include work related to coal gasification, water evaporation, selective high-pressure absorption and desorption of synthesis gases, conditioning of the gasification products, e.m.f. measurements in ternary molten salt, concentrating in particular on the advances in hydrogen technology. Abstract (German)

Das Sonderforschungsprogramm befasst sich mit der theoretischen und experimentellen Erforschung der ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Grundlagen und Folgeproblemen des Einsatzes von Prozesswaerme aus HTR'en. Die Fachvortraege umfassen u.a. Arbeiten im Zusammenhang mit der Kohlevergasung, Wasserverdampfung, selektiven Hochdruckabsorption und Desorption von Synthesegasen, Aufbereitung der Vergasungsprodukte, EMK-Messungen in ternaeren Salzschmelzen und insbesondere mit den Fortschritten bei der Wasserstofftechnologie.
