Analysis of 6 MeV proton scattering by even-even Mo nuclei

Description
An analysis is made for elastic and inelastic scattering of approximately 6 MeV protons by even-even sup(92, 94, 96, 98, 100)Mo nuclei. The calculations of the scattering cross-sections through the compound nucleus were made as well as those by the optical model, the distortedwave method and the coupled-channel method in terms of harmonic approximation of the vibrational model with two- and multichannel coupling. Optimal values are determined for the parameters of the optical potential and for the deformation parameter of the potential. The anomalies have been detected in the values of the optical potential parameters, which are related to the excitation of isobaric-analog resonances in the protons scattering and also to the nuclei deformation
