Incore power distribution determination in Westinghouse pressurized water reactors

Description

Determination of power distribution using the In-Core Instrumentation System is periodically performed in the Westinghouse Pressurized Water Reactor. The measurements taken are then normally compiled into useful information for the plant operation using digital computation techniques. The instrumentation system employed to take these measurements and INCORE code which is used to process the information obtained are described. (U.S.)
