Present-day knowledge of chemistry of iodine, rhenium, technetsium and manganese of highest oxidation state
Description
Literature data concerning the state of perrhenates and periodates in alkaline solutions have been reviewed. The data show the occurrence of interactions of rhenium (7) and iodine (7) with the medium at the increase of hydroxyl ion concentration. The phenomenon leads to the structuring of the system being accompanied by the loss of the intraspheric water and by formation of complex three-dimensional structures on the basis of the initial octahedral ions
