Preparation, existence region and some properties of CuInSe2 compound
- 1. Uzhgorodskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Uzhgorod (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
CuInSe2 compound was synthesized by fusion of high-purity elements. Monocrystals are grown by Bridgmen-Stockbarger method. Synthesized polycrystalline mixture and grown CuInSe2 monocrystals correspond to stoichiometric composition. Chemical stability of CuInSe2 in different chemical reagents is studied. On the basis of microstructural, chemical and X-ray data a part of Cu2Se-In2Se3 system phase diagrams in the CuInSe2 compound existence range is plotted. Maximum at phase diagram is shifted to In2Se3 side. CuInSe2 is crystallized in a tetragonal crystal system with crystal lattice parameters a=5.77, c=11.56±0.005 A, density of 5.63x103 kg/m3, microhardness - 2.46±0.05 GPa and melting point -981±5 deg C; fusion enthalpy is 45.73±0.5 kJ/g
