Rare earth different-ligand complexes with acetylacetone and fumaric or maleic acid

Description

Rare earth(3) different-ligand complexes (rare earths are: Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Yb) with acetylacetone (AA) and fumaric acid or maleic acids (AcidH2) have been prepared by means of interaction between rare earth tris-acetylacetonates and sesquiexcess of organic acid in diethyl ether solution. According to the data of elementary analysis, thermogravimetric and spectroscopic studies, the mixed-ligand complexes have the following composition: Ln(AA)2(AcidH)·H2O. 2 refs
