Effects of deformation rate and cooling conditions on low temperature plasticity of stainless iron-chromium-nickel steels

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kharkov. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst. Nizkikh Temperatur

Description

The thermal model described previously (Medvedev. Cryogenics, 16:533 (1976)) is used to explain experimental results obtained by measuring the effect of deformation rate and cooling conditions on low temperature plastic strain. The samples used were polycrystalline phase-transition stable Fe-Cr-Ni alloy steels. (author)
