Description
The coefficient of collision damping of the plasma wave, in a constant weak magnetic field, is calculated by means of the Fokker-Planck collision term. It is found that the damping of electromagnetic wave increases with an increase in magnetic field but the damping of plasma oscillation decrease in case of Bo vector ⊥K vector. Landau damping coefficient is also calculated. (author)
