Approximate solutions for the two-dimensional integral transport equation. The critically mixed methods of resolution

Description

This work is divided into two part the first part (note CEA-N-2165) deals with the solution of complex two-dimensional transport problems, the second one treats the critically mixed methods of resolution. These methods are applied for one-dimensional geometries with highly anisotropic scattering. In order to simplify the set of integral equation provided by the integral transport equation, the integro-differential equation is used to obtain relations that allow to lower the number of integral equation to solve; a general mathematical and numerical study is presented

Ce travail est divise en deux parties: la premiere (note CEA-N-2165) est dediee a la resolution des problemes de transport en geometries bidimensionnelles complexes, la seconde etudie theoriquement les methodes mixtes de resolution. Ces methodes s'appliquent au cas du choc anisotrope pour les geometries monodimensionnelles. Pour simplifier l'ensemble d'equations integrales obtenues, on utilise l'equation integro-differentielle qui fournit des relations permettant de reduire le nombre d'equations integrales a resoudre; une etude generale des aspects mathematiques et numeriques est presentee
