Nucleon superfluidity under coexistence of neutral and charged pion condensations
Description
Nucleon superfluidity under the simultaneous condensation of neutral pion (π0) and charged one (πsup(c)) is investigated in a simple model calculation. It is noted that the pairing correlation is characterized both by the two-dimensional nature due to π0-condensation and the appearance of attenuation effect caused by the πsup(c)-one. Even under the situation, nucleons in neutron star interior are expected to be superfluid with the critical temperature 108-90K. (author)
