A method for heavy concrete quality control and assurance

Creators

  • 1. Technicky a Zkusebni Ustav Stavebni, Plzen (Czechoslovakia)

Description

The method is based on the initial requirement of the minimal mean value of concrete bulk density, which should be a minimum of 3,350 kg/m3. Prior to the commencement of building, a surveillance test is conducted to ascertain whether concrete with the required properties can be manufactured from the raw materials chosen. Inspection tests are then performed on samples of each 25 m3 batch of concrete. The results are statistically processed and cumulated. Briefly described is the method of good quality value ratio.
