Unusual complication of Crohn's disease

Description
In diagnosis and therapy of Crohn's disease the occurrence of typical complications is especially regarded. This may result in diagnosing not typical complications of other localizations too late so that therapeutical measures are without success. This is reported of a patient who, having suffered from Crohn's disease for 30 years, was suddenly struck by multiple abscesses of the lung. (orig.)

Bei Diagnostik und Therapie des Morbus Crohn wird das Auftreten von typischen Komplikationen besonders beachtet. Das kann zur Folge haben, dass nichttypische Komplikationen anderer Lokalisation spaet diagnostiziert werden und therapeutische Massnahmen nicht zum Erfolg fuehren. Das wird von einem Patienten mit einer dreissigjaehringen Crohn-Anamnese und ploetzlichem Auftreten von multiplen Lungenabszessen berichtet. (orig.)Additional details
