Effect of dielectric inclusions on thermoelectric properties of lead telluride

Description
The effect of dielectric inclusions (DI) on electrophysical properties of n-type conductivity lead telluride is studied experimentally. A considerable increase in electron mobility in the samples is detected. It is assumed, that the boundaries of PbTe-inclusion in heterogeneous field of stresses (appearing due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficients and inclusions) play the role of point defect discharges
