Voyager observations of small-scale waves in the equatorial region of the jovian atmosphere
Description
The Voyager 1 imaging system has provided information to help characterise the general and small-scale features of the jovian atmospheric circulation showing that wave-like disturbances in the equatorial region fall into two distinct categories differentiated by their 'horizontal' extent, morphology, spacing drift rate and association with other visible features.
