Influence of induction effects on the interaction of spatially separated plasma and a beam
Description
Interaction of a tubular relativistic electron beam with a plasma cylinder blown by the beam, placed into a metallic waveguide, is theoretically studied. A nonstationary nonlinear theory is developed induction effects, occurred during interaction of spatially separated plasma and an electron beam and related to energy variation of the system magnetic field as a result of beam retardation, are taken into account. Their considerable effect on the basic interaction characteristics is demonstrated
