Partial wave analysis of pp→NNπ and dibaryon resonances
Description
This talk summarizes results of a partial-wave analysis (PWA) of pup-arrowp→Δ++n→pπ+n in the dibaryon resonance region, using comprehensive data on single spin correlations from the effective mass spectrometer at the Argonne Zero Gradient Synchrotron.1 These results are compared with recent PWA for the bound nucleon final state, pp→π+d, by Bugg.2 These reactions are closely related, and neither displays Breit-Wigner resonance behavior in the larger waves
