Description
Preparation and study of polycrystalline PrFeO3 is presented in the present work. The crystal structure and phase purity was determined through x-ray diffraction and Rietveld analysis.Magnetic ordering, Fe3+ ionic state of iron and existence of only one type of crystallographic site for iron ion in PrFeO3 is confirmed by the Mossbauer spectra at room temperature. The temperature dependent leakage current density (J-E) measurments are carried out over a temperature range of 150 - 250 K in order to sutdy the conduction mechanism and activation energy. (paper)
