Crystals of new phase Bi4V2O11 system Bi2O3-V2O5

Description
Mono- and polycrystal samples of a new, early unknown phase of the Bi2O3-V2O5 system of Bi4V2O11 composition are prepared under the conditions of slow cooling of the 2Bi2O3xV2O5 mixture melt and according to ceramic engineering respectively. It is found out in the result of X-ray diffraction investigations that crystals are of rhombic symmetry, parameters of their elementary cell a=16.84(1), b=16.62(1) and c=15.30(1) A are determined. A displayed roentgenogram of the powder and IR spectra of crystals are presented
