Skin malignancy

The classification of skin cancers is outlined and particular reference is made to fractionation regimes, to the treatment of advanced basal cell carcinomas, and to special sites such as the eyes, the extraauditory canal and entrance to the nasal cavities, and lips. Palliative radiotherapy for melanoma, and radiotherapy for mycosis fungoides and lymphomatous skin conditions are briefly mentioned in this outline review. (U.K.)
