Synthesis and spectral characteristics of some 5-substituted derivatives of new modified para-x-phenyl imidazo- [2,1-b] [1,3,4] thiadiazole

The article describes synthesis of new modifications of derivatives of 6-phenyl and 6-p-iodophenyl and 6-p-bromophenyl imidazo [2,1-b] [1,3,4] thiadiazoles - 2-methyl-, 2-benzyl- 6-p-iodophenyl- and 2- (1-chloroethyl) -6-p-bromophenyl imidazo [2,1-b] [1,3,4] thiadiazole based on cyclization of 2-R-5-amino-1, 3,4-thiadiazole with p-iodo phenacyl and p-bromophenacyl bromides, study their chemical transformations, as well as 2 - ((ethylsulfonyl) methyl) -6-phenyl imidazo [2,1-b] -1,3,4-thiadiazole with formaldehyde and alkyl and hetero amine based on Mannich reaction and molecular bromine. The structure of obtained compounds based on infrared spectroscopy has been defined. It has been shown that presence of substituents of 2 position of thiadiazole fragment and substituents of 5th and 6th positions of imidazole fragment of these heterocycles affects the electron density distribution at which changes in intensity of some peaks of these compounds occur.
