The commissioning software design for network and serial interface devices applied to accelerator field

Description

Increasing numbers of specialized control devices with different kinds of interfaces are used in accelerator field. The diversified interfaces bring so many inconveniences when the devices are installed and debugged. After analyzing device interface types, the paper descripts a network and serial commissioning software based on the VC++ programming technology of network and serial interface communication. The software integrates all kinds of general functions for the requirements of debugging. The software has been applied in accelerator field and has the advantage of stable performance and reliable operation. The software is able to meet a variety of accelerator field environments of network interface and serial interface devices commissioning. It has provided a convenient commissioning design which is effectively raising the commissioning and installation efficiency. (authors)
