Element composition of aerosol discharges from coal-fuel heat power plant
Description
A study was made on composition of fuel, ash and fly ash of brown coal-fuel heat power plant. Element composition of fuel and ash was investigated by polarographic, emission spectral and neutron-acivation methods of analysis. It is shown that examined specimens contain a set of microelements, which are hazardons for human health from the viewpoint of sanitation (beryllium, vanadium, cobalt, arsenic, nickel, lead, thorium, uranium, chromium). Content of the most sufficient natural radionuclides was investigated. Determination was conducted by radiochemical (210Po), γ-spectrometric (228Th, 226Ra, 40K) methods and by calculation method (232Th, 238U, 40K) according to the content of stable analogue specimen. It is shown that main contribution to the natural radioactivity of the basic full and ash is made by 40K. Its share in the total coal activity is equal to 0.8; of fly ash-0.7
