Melting parameters of methane and nitrogen from 0 to 10 kbar
Description
Fluid and solid molar volume and pressure-temperature melting data were obtained at pressures up to 10 kbar for nitrogen and methane. These results were combined with data from the literature to derive molar volumes of the solids at their respective triple points, and the resulting complete data sets are represented by fitted empirical equations
