Description
Free standing samples of plasma sprayed zirconia partially stabilized with yettria were prepared with different spraying parameters. The different spraying parameters produces different amounts of pores and micro-tracks. Additionally, the effect of heat treatment at 1200 degree C for 15 h has been studied. Impedance spectroscopy (IS) measurements were performed on as- sprayed and heat-treated specimens at 600 degree C was used to study the effect of porosity and micro-cracks on the electric properties of samples. Specimen's microstructure was examined by optical microscopy
