On the relation of Regge-trajectories to degenerate classical solutions of equations of motion

Description
The relation of orbital excitations E=E(l) to critical curves in the initial data (l,E)-plane of classical equations of motions is pointed out. In addition it is shown that the string motion with the linear trajectory J=α'm2 corresponds to a degenerate solution of the inhomogeneous Maxwell equations. (Auth.)
