Superconducting magnetic coil with impregnating device
Description
Impregnation with artificial resin, for example, is carried out for the mechanical stabilisation of the package of windings made of thin, brittle Nb3 Sn or V3 Ga conductors of the annealed super-conducting magnets. The impregnation device consists of a tubular central part and end flanges, which are the ends of the fronts of the package of windings. Perforated sheets on the front ensure even distribution of the artificial resin on the package of windings (RW)

Fuer die mechanische Stabilisierung des Wickelpaketes aus duennen, sproeden Nb3Sn - oder V3Ga-Leitern des gegluehten Supraleitungsmagneten wird eine Impraegnierung mit z.B. Kunstharz vorgenommen. Die Impraegniereinrichtung besteht aus einem rohrfoermigen Mittelteil und Endflanschen, die die Stirnseiten des Wickelpaketes abschliessen. Lochplatten an den Stirnseiten sorgen fuer eine gleichmaessige Verteilung des Kunstharzes auf das Wickelpaket. (RW)Files
