Description
Accurate estimation of thermal power is essential for a power plant. The various power stages of a CANDU type nuclear power plant and the method to be used for estimation of power at each stage are described. The problems posed in the estimation of reactor thermal power in the first three stages of the Rajasthan Atomic Power Station are also mentioned. (K.B.)
