Study of austenitic steels stability in lithium under 600 deg C
Description
Comparative study of a number of austenitic steels doped with chromium, nickel, manganese and molybdenum to select optimal compositions stable in lithium at 600 deg C temperature is carried out. As a result of the studies it is shown that optimal steel composition is the one doped with 10% of manganese, 15 % of chromium, 20% of nickel and 1.6% of molybdenum either from the viewpoint of structure stability, mechanical properties stability and stability in lithium
