The Karlsruhe Research Center with its efficient compact cyclotron is the only place in Germany where the radioisotopes iodine-123 and rubidium-81 can be produced for nuclear medicine applications, as well as the therapeutical agent 2-18F-fluorine-2-desoxy-D-glucose. (DG)

Im Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe wurden mittels eines Kompaktzyklotrons die Radioisotope Jod-123 und Rubidium-81 sowie das Arzneimittel 2-18F-Fluor-2-deoxy-D-glukose fuer diagnostische bzw. therapeutische Anwendungen in der Nuklearmedizin dargestellt. (DG)Additional details
