What does the immunoscintigraphy bring to the diagnostic and therapeutic strategy of ovarian cancer recurrences
Description
The detection of tumoral remnants and of ovarian cancer recurrences represents one of the best suggestion of the immunoscintigraphy with different antibodies. The immunoscintigraphy is used to select the patients in apparent complete remission and to avoid to those who are in true complete remission a second laparotomy during this one systematic biopsies may be oriented. The immunoscintigraphy allows the early detection of a tumoral little volume recurrence. 32 refs
