Description

On the way to present the detailed description of the thermal processing of fossil fuels, one has to face the task of modeling physico-chemical phenomena as complex as thermal dilatation of particles of granular bed in a hot stream of gases. The work presents main assumptions and description of modeling tool for simulate of coal grains thermal dilatations with increasing temperature. For this purpose we use the Lattice Boltzmann method with some schemes needed when the process, of coupled phenomena, in a representative element of granular media is modeled. (paper)
