Spleen PFC change of LACA mice induced by HTO intoxication
Description
The toxicological effect induced by HTO on spleen PFC change was studied. PFC/106 spleen cells of LACA mice dropped significantly five days after HTO injection with 5.687 x 104, 1.370 x 105, 2.27 x 105, 4.545 x 105 Bq/g body weight which are equivalent to accumulated absorbed doses of 1.0, 2.0. 4.0 and 8.0 Gy respectively. No differences of spleen weight were found among 4 groups. It seems that the decrease in PFC quantity is not related to the reduction of prostaglandin E. The role of PGE in the process of PFC reduction should be further investigated
