Description

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP and Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VYZ) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - December 2006 (for NPP V1, VYZ A1, and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 7.876 TBq (0.394% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 49.371 MBq (0.062% AL) for V1), 10.462 MBq (1.11% of AL) for VYZ A1 and 0.872 MBq (0.29% of AL) for VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 53.069 MBq (0.082% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a December 2006 for NPP V1, VYZ A1, VYZ MSVP and NPP V2, respectively) were: 0.608 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 1.169 MBq (V1), 0.5355 MBq (VYZ A1) and 0.00922 MBq (VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.573 MBq (V1) of iodine; 1.654 MBq (V1) and 3.572 MBq (VYZ, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 935.2 GBq (V1) and 16.333 GBq (VYZ, totally) of tritium. For the period January - December 2006 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 39.828 MBq (0.306% of AL) for V1, 57.294 MBq (0.477% of AL) for VYZ; and for tritium it is 7388.6 GBq (36.943% of AL) for V1, 893.250 GBq (8.933% of AL) for VYZ. Chemical effluents are reported, too
