Description
The performance of the cooling system will decrease as the decreasing of the heat exchanger effectively. One of the reasons that cause decreasing the effectively of heat exchanger was the occurrence of fouling that created on the coolant. It has been predicted that the existing fouling in the secondary system was thicker than that of the primary system, so the secondary system needs to be treated in order to decrease the existing fouling. Cleaning the heat exchanger was done by overhaul and clean it by using a certain solvent. Analysis to the effectively of the heat exchanger is done to know the influence of cleaning process to the secondary system. (author)
