Neutron radiography in the plasma focus
Description
Starting with some theoretical considerations, the paper describes the experimental basis for neutron radiography in the plasma focus. With an appropriate combination of scintillator and image converter, average optical density can already be reached at neutron density of about 5 x 104 n/cm2. Contrast studies near the plasma focus with the aid of neutrons have thus become possible for the first time. (orig./AK)

Ausgehend von theoretischen Ueberlegungen werden in dieser Arbeit die experimentellen Grundlagen dargestellt, welche die Neutrographie am Plasmafokus ermoeglichen. Durch eine geeignete Kombination aus Szintillator und Bildverstaerker kann bereits bei einer Neutronendichte von ca. 5 x 104 n/cm2 eine mittlere Filmschwaerzung erreicht werden. Dadurch ist es erstmals moeglich geworden, Kontrastuntersuchungen mit Hilfe von Neutronen am Plasmafokus durchzufuehren. (orig.)
