Description
A separated flow model for predicting two-phase pressure drop and two-phase forced convective heat transfer has been developed for annular flow in narrow annular gap at high mass quality. Conservation equations of mass, momentum, and energy are used to solve thicknesses of the thin liquid films both internal and external velocity distribution and temperature distribution. The model can also predict the heat transfer coefficients changing with the annular gap size and heat flux
