Photochemistry of oriented layers of copper phthalocyanine in the x-ray wavelength range

Description
Changes occurring in layers of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) induced by X-ray synchrotron radiation at doses of 5-55 kJ/Cm3 and subsequent thermal treatment are studied by the methods of ESR, Raman spectroscopy and high-temperature mass spectrometry. It was ascertained that irradiation of CuPc by a dose of about 5 kJ/cm3 gives rise to prevailing loss of orientation of some molecules within a block, i.e. weakening of interaction between individual molecules transfer into bi-radical state, C-H bonds in CuPc molecule are weakened, hydrogen bonds between neighboring molecules are formed
Abstract (Russian)
Методами ЭПР, КР-спектроскопии и высокотемпературной масс-спектрометрии изучены изменения, происходящие в слоях фталоцианина меди (CuPc) под действием рентгеновского синхротронного излучения с дозами 5-55 кДж/см3 и последующей термической обработки. Установлено, что при облучении CuPc дозой около 5 кДж/см3 преобладает дезориентация отдельных молекул в блоке, т.е. ослабление взаимодействия между отдельными молекулами в слое. При дозах 55 кДж/см3 отдельные молекулы переходят в бирадикальное состояние, ослабляются связи С-Н в молекуле CuPc, происходит образование водородных связей между соседними молекуламиAdditional details
