Effect of irradiation dose rate on catalytic properties of zeolite-containing catalysts

Description

Effect of γ-irradiation dose rate upon catalytic activity of zeolite-containing catalyst Tseokar-2 in the process of n-C10H22 cracking is studied. It is established that the yield of catalytically-active radiation defects depends on irradiation dose rate. At the irradiation dose rate of 500 rad/s a range of saturation in the dependence of catalytically-active centre yield on the dose rate is observed which testifies to the equilibrium in the processes of radiation formation and annealing of catalytically-active radiation defects. Data on the study of the effect of the dose rate upon catalytic properties are reaffirmed by the results obtained when investigating yields of radiation defects depending on the dose rate using EPR method
