Electronic structure of clusters with 3d-elements in layered oxide systems

Description
Cluster method of descrete variation was used to calculate characteristic structural polyhedrons in LaSrCuO4, simulating the electron structure of both copper centers and other 3d-elements (Ti-Ni) in 2 and 3 oxidation degrees in the lattice of the given superconductor. Regularities of formation of valent O2p- and M3d-states are considered. Possibility of production of systems with p-type and n-type conduction, based on element oxides with partially occupied 3d-shell is evaluated
